We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling orders received from stores, relocating merchandise, sorting and organizing products, and participating in warehouse inventory counts. A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment are essential for success in this position. The role involves frequent physical activities, including lifting and moving merchandise throughout the warehouse.   • Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to effectively fulfill orders received from stores.
  • Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
  • Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically in preparation for shipment and unload incoming shipments from trucks/back-hauls.
  • Perform general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
  • Participate in-taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
  • Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership through ongoing communication and exchange of information.
  • Provide input to the warehouse management regarding changes to improve processes.
  • Inspect product, consult with warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
  • Assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
  • Perform all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.
  • Follow the ergonomic program according to established procedures.
