Job Description

The Member Experience Lead (MEL) at VASA Fitness is a key position responsible for driving the club towards achieving exceptional results. The ideal candidate is engaging, positive, and organized, with a unique ability to lead by example. The MEL supports the General Manager and plays a pivotal role in fostering a high-performing team while providing a world-class experience for VASA members. This position involves numerous deliverables, management responsibilities, and a strong focus on leadership and coaching.


  • Ensure all Member Experience Specialists (MES) create and maintain the 'UPLIFT' culture in the club.
  • Implement the welcoming, non-intimidating VASA experience through the guest-to-member journey.
  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training all MES team members.
  • Promote REVIVE sales, our in-club snack, drink, gear, and apparel shop.
  • Maintain the club ensuring equipment functionality, cleanliness, and friendly staff support.
  • Support the General Manager by forecasting staffing needs and conducting interviews.
  • Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to recognize success and address areas for improvement.
  • Communicate, lead by example, and motivate the team to understand and develop a passion for the brand and our values.
