Job Description

Join American Family Insurance as a Senior Business Process Improvement Consultant in Madison, WI. Collaborate with project stakeholders, lead teams in process improvement analysis, maintain standardized business processes, and oversee health performance metrics reporting. Act as a coach, guide complex problem-solving, implement controls, and lead continuous improvement activities. Map processes, champion digitization opportunities, ensure compliance, and act as a subject matter expert for business processes. Prioritize adaptability, flexibility, and a design thinking mindset. This hybrid role requires a physical presence in the Madison office for a minimum of 10 days per month.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to define scope, identify resources, and oversee teams.
  • Lead teams in process improvement analysis.
  • Maintain standardized processes and health performance metrics reporting.
  • Act as a coach, guide complex problem-solving, and implement controls.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities and champion digitization opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance, map processes, and act as a subject matter expert for business processes.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Agile portfolio management, Lean Six Sigma, design thinking, and innovation tools.
  • Experience in facilitating cross-divisional teams and providing customer-driven solutions.
  • Effective communication to all leadership levels.
  • Basic knowledge of business systems and IT functions.

Location & Travel Requirements

Madison, WI - Hybrid role requiring a minimum of 10 days per month in the office. Travel up to 10% may be required.
